Baalbeck is a city in the Beqaa Valley, famous for its remarkable Roman ruins. The most prominent of which are the temples of Jupiter, Bacchus, and Venus, which date back to the 1st and 2nd centuries AD. The temples of Baalbeck are an architectural marvel, with intricate carvings and towering columns. The city has been inhabited for over 9,000 years and has a rich history of conquests and cultural exchange.

1- The Temple of Jupiter: This temple is the largest and most impressive of the three temples in Baalbeck. It was built during the reign of Emperor Augustus in the 1st century AD and is dedicated to the Roman god Jupiter. The temple features massive columns, intricate carvings, and stunning architectural details.

2- The Temple of Bacchus: The Temple of Bacchus is another impressive Roman temple located in Baalbeck. It was built in the 2nd century AD and is dedicated to the Roman god of wine and fertility, Bacchus. The temple is famous for its well-preserved façade and intricate relief sculptures.

3- The Temple of Venus: The Temple of Venus is the smallest of the three temples in Baalbeck. It was built in the 2nd century AD and is dedicated to the Roman goddess of love and beauty, Venus. The temple features beautiful carvings and is known for its unique hexagonal shape.

The Chouf Cedar Reserve is a nature reserve located in the Chouf Mountains of Lebanon. The reserve is home to one of the largest remaining cedar forests in the country, containing over 35,000 cedar trees that are thousands of years old. The reserve is also home to several other species of flora and fauna, including oak trees, wild boars, and the endangered Mount Lebanon Cedar tree.
